shoveling yesterday

the sight of snow makes me wonder sometimes how beautiful it is really to be here, watching the snow falls to street, covering the trees, the cars and all that is outside waiting to covered by the snow. Few days ago, a day of valentine in 2007, big snowstorm hit the upper east side of the US. some parts get even the whole house covered with snow. there is nothing i know that can prevent it but hearing the news was kind of interesting to me watching how something as big as house can be totally covered by snow. but well in my place we did not get that much snow, only about 15 to 20 inches. but then the next morning the snow trucks came and shovel the streets leaving a big pile at the sides of road making it hard for anyone to walk by foot. those car left at the sides of the snow then got covered in the midst of cleaning the street so vehicles can travel through and then people can get to work and go to classes. little everyone who never experience snow know that sprinkling salt at the snow will melt the ice making it wet all over the street. well the day after the snowstorm i have to wear my insulation shoes since the whole road is covered with melting ice as result of interaction with salt. so due to the snow being shovel to the sides of the road, my car was also covered and well we did not act in hurry to clear it from the snow since we were not using cars to get to class but rather a bus, each an everyday when there is class. perhaps it is interesting to show how the car was covered. so the picture was put up, yet risking in exposing my identity to the public but well who cares. no one knows. so when finally the weekends came, it was then became the best day to shovel. to dig our car so that we can see the real car underneath the snow. those who live in houses i saw them shoveling seems like non stop from am to pm so that their driveway can be cleared. it was not a boy or a man but rather a middle aged woman. from her aura i felt that i should also be doing something i have been put off doing ever since the storm stopped. so it was all done yesterday and a result i tired myself out making me lifeless throughout the day but however after a good lay during the hour of 2 to 4, that night i was refreshed to make some groceries as well as visiting a family man in town. we were served with coconut milk rice and if i will try translating the literal meaning it will be called fat rice. aha. serves you right if you are trying to introduce this kind of food to any English speaking person, they not be willing to eat them.
