I once told my friend that once you wake up and you remember you have been dreaming then you should not continue sleeping cause you already have enough. Why?
there are phases in your sleep.
your body and your mind will sleep, so you are in deep sleep. this is when everything is resting and should not be disturbed.
once you start dreaming, your mind has woken up because it has enough sleep and then time to get up.
i remember the time when i slept one whole day and dreamt about one thing after another. the moment i woke up i didnt feel refreshed but tired. how come i said to myself. i have been sleeping i.e resting one whole day! why am i still tired?
this is what is being formulated:
when i start dreaming.. the mind start working and drain the energy from other part of the body. so the longer you dreaming.. the more tired you feel.
thus the best sleep is when you woke feeling refreshed and remember that you have not dream at all!! you mind and body have been resting all the while.
so whenever you woke after a deep sleep.. go on and wake up and start doing something.. shake ur body or whatever that is other that continue sleeping.
