Today I was blessed to know that my dad survived a minor stroke.
It was unusual for my dad to allow me to take him to see a doctor. It was because my mom has suspected some crookedness at his mouth and his speech was a bit slurred. We thought that it was just a symptom to an incoming stroke but when we went to the clinic my dad was immediately referred to emergency department that we actually went around six after taking food, rest and pray.
Then the doctor confirmed that it was a stroke that had already happened, most probably before waking up on the Saturday. The CT scan revealed that a small part of his brain was damage during the stroke but Alhamdulillah it did not result in any dysfunctionality of his body.
At the moment, we are still waiting for the monitoring of his blood pressure and further advice by the doctor.
